University e-mail for students of UJEP was created primarily to improve communication between university and students. Students can use this e-mail for private purposes too. To avoid problems related to lack of informations, student should read his e-mails here periodically.

Mailbox limit is 40 MB (for one week 50 MB), so it is necessary to maintain an adequate space. Primary e-mail address is in form
student_numer@students.ujep.cz
(eg p0123456789@students.ujep.cz).
Simultaneously is created alias in form
name.surname@students.ujep.cz
(eg john.smith@students.ujep.cz).
In case of more students with the same name and surname aliases will be distinguished by serial numbers (eg john.smith2@students.ujep.cz).

Student e-mail is linked to STAG system. It means:

• for each student number there is one mailbox, for one person with more fields of study exists multiple mailboxes
• login name is the same as the student number (eg p0123456789), password is the same as password for STAG (change of password for STAG is also change of password for student e-mail)
• When a student stops to be a student of UJEP, STAG account is revoked or suspended and mailbox become inacessible.
